Silicon tape is a handy way to repair items. However, in most cases, it can take up to 24 hours to cure. Newer, self-fusing silicon tape takes only minutes to cure. It can be used in place of shrink tubing and is intended to repair any surface, including electrical components. It is heat resistant up to 500 degrees F.
Shakable Siphon
There are times when you need to siphon liquid from one area and transport it into another. A shakable siphon helps you do so without sucking the liquid up through the tube. Simply stick one end into the liquid you need to siphon off, and shake the tube a few times. This draws the liquid up through the tube and allows you to siphon it out without getting your mouth full of potentially harmful substances.
Spray Rubber
Your local hardware store is full of interesting sealants. Not the least of these is spray rubber that can serve as a watertight seal. There are many practical uses; however, it might not be best to try to make a boat out of a screen door with just one can.
