By being consistent on house training puppies, the faster the puppy learns acceptable behavior. House training your puppy takes some time, and with some of the smaller types may take longer. Whenever a puppy has not had any accidents in the house for two to three months, it means that the puppy has been house trained properly.

1. Institute a Routine
Observe the behavior of your puppy especially when he is waking up from a nap, after playing or eating. These are the most important situations where your puppy to relate itself. Ensure to have a location not too far from the door of the bathroom spot. In addition, commend your puppy every time he successfully eliminates outdoors. This is to let your puppy know that eliminating outdoors is the correct behavior. If possible, have your puppy feed in a regular schedule in order to be consistent when he will eliminate.

2. Mermanage your puppy
You should always watch your puppy even when you are inside the house. You can bind him with a leash to keep him in your sight. 3. Confine your puppy
