The Reason That I Stick To WordPress
When I started blogging, I looked free hosting, free domain and everything free. Many free hosting and domain have done pretty good job for me, like blogger, Ning and WordPress.com. They all are good enough for simple blogging for personal and small organizations. But after I used WordPress.org I never turn back to free hosting and domains. Let's me List the reason that I stick on WordPress:
1. Easy to Install
Most web-hosting know well about WordPress, so they try their hosting to integrated with WordPress. For my hosting I use Powweb. In its Control panel there is WordPress button, you just click and follow the steps. I think not only Powweb, most every update web hosting do that way.
2. Easy Setting
I have very limited knowledge about HTML, PHP and CSS. They all seem heavenly language to me. I really thank WordPress that they can create this great platform for ordinary people. If you ask me, 'Is very easy to setup WordPress,' I will answer 'No.' At the same time If you ask me again, 'Is it too difficult,' I will answer 'No.' Especially for the beginners it has been more challenges but it's fine with human language. The first post of FreeNewbie is "Nothing is Easy in Internet Marketing" but all are possible.
3. All Posts have its own Description and Keywords
By using some plugins you can have description in all posts. For other blogs, like blogger, you can have one Description and Keywords in one blog.
4. Easy to be seen by SEO
The advantage is all of your posts have its own description so all posts are possible to be seen by SEO. If one of your post catches good keywords and description because of that post you can be in Search Engines front page. That post description can be more powerful than your blog main description and keywords.
5. Rich in Plugins
Three days ago I have written Recommended WordPress Plugins, you can know how important plugins are, for WordPress. WordPress does not have real enough plugins for its Children. May be more than enough (abandon).
6. Easy Tech Support
If you have any problems technically, there are a lot of forums, blogs, post, articles and online services about WordPress. The great thing about the WordPress community is that there are so many developers out there who are willing to help out and give you the right lead on your issues.
7. Bunch of Impressive Themes
There are a lot of free themes as well as pay themes for WordPress. If you do not want the theme that you are using it is very easy to change. Sometimes it is too easy to change so it give me problem. Anyway it is better than difficult to change. Changing themes in WordPress is only a click away. You no longer have to copy and paste multiple files and code / text like you did before, it's all neatly packaged into its own theme folders. Simply create (or download), then upload. Make that switch and you're done.
